Breaking through physical limits and finding the sweet spot for recovery

I’ve been stuck at the exact same body weight and strength levels for almost two years now, and no matter how much I clean up my diet or tweak my training volume, my body just refuses to grow. A buddy at my gym who recently made some insane progress suggested I look into running a low-dose growth hormone cycle to finally break through this stubborn plateau, but honestly, looking through all these online calculator tools and reading conflicting threads about daily unit protocols has me feeling incredibly overwhelmed and worried about wasting my hard-earned money on the wrong approach.

That plateau frustration is so real and it honestly drove me crazy a few years back when my bench and squat just wouldn't budge despite me eating until I felt sick. I actually ended up jumping straight into a high-dose protocol because some massive guy in my gym told me that anything under five units a day was a total waste of time, which turned out to be a massive mistake because my hands got so swollen I could barely grip the barbell.
