ABOUT US
We are a friendly club that organises and participates in local and national athletics events.
Our members are a wide range of ages, with a variety of running interests.
We welcome new members of all abilities. Whether you simply want to run for fun, lose weight, maintain or improve your fitness level or train to take part in organised events; we offer a supportive and friendly atmosphere to help you reach your goals.

Membership & Prices
Adult Runners Membership
Our run groups cater to all levels of runners, from beginners to experienced athletes. We usually offer different distance options to accommodate various fitness levels and training goals. Whether you prefer a short and leisurely jog or a faster, more challenging run, there will be something for you. We meet five to ten minutes before start times just outside the athletics track in Briar Mill. See the GROUPS section for further details.
The pace is typically set by the participants, allowing everyone to find a comfortable speed. Ideally, you need to be able to run a minimum of 8k without stopping.
We offer 2 ‘free sessions’ before we ask you to join formally. If it's your first time running with us message us via the contact form on this website.
Droitwich Athletics Club is affiliated to England Athletics (EA). As a club member you will be eligible for reduced EA-affiliated rates at many running events.
Junior Athletics Training Membership
We have a junior athletics training squad that trains on a Tuesday evening between 6:20 and 7:30. We can take on young people from the age of 8 to 18. There is no expectation of any previous athletics training and all abilities are welcome. We have two to three groups and athletes have the option to do and try different types of track and field events including running for speed, running for distance, throwing and jumping. We do not have the facilities for all events; so no hammer, steeple chase, high jump or pole vault. We use the Spond app for membership (free), weekly signing up (£3.00), payments and messaging. To be added to this list please use the link on the JUNIORS page of this website.
We meet ten minutes before start time on the athletics track in Briar Mill.
